What Would you Call This Site

Say you built this site a few years back. You could put music on it, you could add pictures, send emails, make comments etc and generally be socially interactive. Then you decided to add some barriers like captcha. Then the site starts to slow down, maybe because of lots of users. Then you do nothing or little to speed it up. Then the world around you changes and others invent sites that are better than your site and you seem to do nothing but rely on cruise control on your site. Then one day it all comes to a head and you realize people don't like your site as much any more and they are leaving in hordes to other sites. So you decide to switch off the cruise control and try to fix your site, but, this time you totally screw it up. It becomes slower than maybe dial-up, pictures are too small, it locks up and the most important thing, nobody likes it, but you decide you know best, as the world bleeds away around your site.
